OLAFUR ELIASSON - OPEN MoCa

For this project we used a groundbreaking neuromorphic event camera technology that can observe the world as a series of event, just like the human eye. The Event camera opens up to new fields of visual perception and engage with the works of Olafur Eliasson based on the laws of geometric optics to create a documentation that takes the form of a data set that can be visually interpreted indefinitely in the future, rather than materialising as a film with cinematic aesthetics.

The exhibition at MoCa is part of the PST ART: Art & Science project presented by the Getty and curated by senior curator José Luis Blondet and associate curator Rebecca Lowery.
